Deborah Dobson-Brown

Director of Texas Services

With over 35 years of experience in cultural resources investigations and historic preservation, Deborah Dobson-Brown is a leading expert in architectural history and preservation management at ERG. Her extensive portfolio includes over 800 Section 106 and NEPA projects across multiple states, the documentation of more than 6,000 state inventory forms, and the preparation of numerous HABS/HAER documentation packages. Renowned for her ability to prepare National Register nominations and interpret preservation law, Deborah also excels in public education. She has conducted workshops and served as a keynote speaker on federal preservation guidelines and building restoration. She has served as an expert legal witness on cultural resource adverse effects on various state and federal projects.
