Marcie Dilks

Senior Resources Director

Marcie received an Environmental Studies degree from University of Kansas. This qualified her to be hired as an Industrial Hygiene Technician for the US Army at Tooele Army Depot in 1975. She was hired to work as asbestos technician/ lab manager for an environmental firm and then transitioned to working with on-site employees and served as Facility Security Officer (FSO). She has been with ERG since 2014, where she has been involved with security, onboarding, payroll, invoicing, paying bills and expenses, and any other tasks that rely on institutional knowledge.

Professional Highlights

  • Upon creation of OSHA, was hired by US Army to be trained as an industrial hygiene technician and served at Tooele Army Depot in Utah.

  • Asbestos Lab Manager for environmental firm during time when AHERA (Asbestos Hazard Response Act) was requiring agencies nationwide to contract for inspection of all schools for asbestos. The lab ran 2 shifts to accommodate the samples that were collected.

  • Hired by ERG as a trusted resource.

  • Site visits to meet onsite employees at government locations.

  • Opportunity to visit our Austin office and meet Texas employees.

  • Hanging with my kids, grandkids and pets—Maggie and Cicada.
