Todd McCurdy
Cultural Resources Lead
With over 26 years of cultural resources management experience in the American Southeast, Southwest, Midwest and Pacific Rim, Todd McCurdy joined ERG as an archaeologist in 2022. He has been involved in a variety of projects in the transportation, infrastructure, telecommunications and government sectors. He meets the Secretary of Interior’s Standards for Archaeology and has been a Registered Professional Archaeologist (RPA) since 2006 (RPA # 4881). At ERG, Mr. McCurdy leads ERG’s federal program for archaeology. This includes overseeing the development of research designs and work plans, as well as drafting site specific safety plans for archaeological investigations. He manages scope, schedule and budget on archaeological studies, including identifying appropriate full-time and project-specific staff. He also oversees staff conducting archaeological research, directly oversees archaeological studies, authors technical reports and provides QA/QC for technical deliverables authored by staff. Mr. McCurdy also supports agency Section 106 consultation with stakeholders and interested Tribes.
